County Corp’s Dayton YouthBuild program is a real opportunity for at-risk youth to receive the skills and knowledge they need to build a better life for themselves. A college and career preparation program, Dayton YouthBuild uses the latest training curriculum to provide classroom and hands-on experience in both the construction and medical fields. Participants earn nationally recognized certificates while participating in classes and real world work activities. Members also participate in volunteer work days, where they learn the value of giving back to their community. This home is the seventh home built for the community by Dayton YouthBuild participants. County Corp is a non-profit housing developer investing in affordable housing in the Greater Dayton Area. In partnership with the City of Dayton, funding was made available to invest in this home and these Dayton YouthBuild participants to provide access to affordable housing.
